The Challenge
Health monitoring tools and wearables are widely available, but individuals had no platform to design a personal health investigation, analyse the data meaningfully, or share what they found. Existing tools could not structure a non-clinical trial, test the impact of an intervention over time, or build collective knowledge.
Nothing to design a personal investigation with.
Wearable readings collected but never tested.
Impact of an intervention impossible to measure.
No route to shared collective knowledge.
Approach & Solution
smartData built a mobile platform where individuals set up their own studies or join someone else's. Wearable integration imports data automatically from common devices, so trial activity is recorded from what the person already wears rather than depending on manual daily logging to stay accurate.
A statistics module compares health variables to produce correlation charts, box plots and custom graphs, and tests for difference across time so an intervention can be evaluated rather than assumed. An admin portal manages trial categories, goals, health variables and interventions dynamically.
Key Features
Individuals set up studies or join others.
Readings pulled automatically from connected devices.
Variables tested against each other over time.
Findings contributed to collective knowledge.

Final Outcome
People test what actually changes their own health instead of guessing, evidence comes from devices they already wear, and a trial one person runs becomes something others can join and build on together.
